This ongoing body of work explores how food photography can be more inclusive of neurodivergent individuals, challenging perfection-focused industry norms that often overlook sensory needs. Through primary research, including surveys for neurodivergent individuals, I consider how factors like texture, colour, and composition impact accessibility and engagement. Developed during my final year of my Bachelor's and now continuing into my Master's, these images experiment with more relatable, sensory-considerate approaches to food photography. The project aims to redefine how food is visually represented, prioritizing authenticity, comfort, and inclusivity over perfection.
